to people accepted by purdue: if you received funding and are planning to turn down their offer, please tell them asap. i'm still on the waitlist for funding, and that is the #1 factor in my acceptance decision...

Status in the application website is : Recommended by Program; processing at the Graduate School. Dont know exactly what does it mean; I am accepted or not and if I am accpeted, when will I get to know about funding/GA/TA/RA etc?

I know persons who have got TAs from the CS dept. People who are admitted but have no news of financial support are on the waiting list. Try to contact professors to persuade them supporting you with RA. The graduate coordinator said there was little chance for the dept to make financial decisions by April 15.

I emailed the dept, further funding decisions will be made after the 15th april deadline depending upon the no of acceptances....so keep your fingers crossed!
