Declined offer

To the Fordham poster accepted off the waitlist: Congratulations! Can you share your PI’s initials? I’ll post in the waitlist forum in case you’d prefer to PM me.

Accepted off the waitlist

Declined my March 10 offer. Hope this helps someone on the waitlist.

Ivreceived an email early this morning directing me to a link. Granted a full Ricci Fellowship for Spring & Summer 2019 (Fall 2018 covered via Yellow Ribbon Program). Also in at St. John's MA for Government & Politics, NYU MA for Politics, and Columbia MA for Political Science. Anyone have any experience negotiating with Columbia or NYU?

Below one who is placed on the waitlist, what is your major? and Did you receive admission from department?

Has anyone been accepted off of the waitlist at Fordham yet?

No interview

On Tuesday, March 20th, I received an email notification that there was an update to my Fordham GSAS Application. Arrupe Fellowship, full-ride, generous stipend, grad assistantship. I sent my offer letter to Georgetown SFS Center for Latin American Studies to see if they can increase my scholarship from the 50% offer they originally sent me. They are going to get back to me within a week or two. Always try to negotiate your scholarship amount up higher!

I got a notification to visit the admissions portal for the results. So happy I passed. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any funding.

I received a phone call from the director of the IPED program at the end of February and was told that IPED decisions would be going out right before spring break, scheduled to start March 22nd according to GSAS website. Based on my conversation with the IPED director I expect to receive some sort of funding but I don't know if that will be enough for me to not go to Columbia (MA Political Science) and NYU (MA Politics). We'll see. Good luck all!

I received a phone call from the director of the IPED program at the end of February (funding) and was told that IPED decisions would be going out right before spring break, scheduled to start March 22nd according to website https://go.activecalendar.com/FordhamUniversity/site/academic/?&ql=y&search=y. So, I expect decisions to be released by the end of this week. I believe I'll be offered a scholarship based on the conversation with the director of the program but I don't know if that will be enough for me to not attend Columbia (MA Political Science) or NYU (MA Politics). We'll see. Good luck all!

I'm still waiting to hear back about admission in to the MA in IPED program. I applied for the Coverdell and Arrupe Fellowships. No word yet. I emailed IPED on Feb 23 and asked when I should expect to hear back, and the response was, "Thanks for reaching out. Admissions decisions are typically released by the GSAS Admissions office sometime mid March at the earliest." Georgetown's School of Foreign Service got back to me mid-February with a 50% scholarship offer, so I am eagerly awaiting a response from Fordham! Let me know if you have other concerns."

Has anyone heard anything from this program yet? I was under the impression decisions would come out in the first week of March.

Disappointed, thought I’d at least make the waitlist. is there is a waitlist? All I’ve hear is “acceptance” to the diploma program
