4 years relevant work experience, strong (I think) LORs, submitted GRE scores and supplemental essay.

received an email from the department, they said official letters will be out shortly.

GPA just an inch above 3.5, no GRE, and no capital hill/think tank/strong internships in or out of undergrad. However, I spent considerable amount of time (6+ years) in China doing multiple projects, and had a couple solid recommenders for the program. If you're hesitating about your own merits, craft your narrative around where you're strong and try your best. I graduated undergrad in 2015 in English and Sociology! Additionally, anyone know when we have any decisions on merit scholarships?

Getting rejected in the middle of the night is fowl. Well, I don't have a license, so LA isn't for me anyway. LOL

Email to check portal. Generic brush off rejection letter. Bunch of snobs - check out the profiles of the jerks who make it into this place. Pissed since it's highly respected, but happy since I'd rather be educated by an angry honey badger.

No GRE, spent considerable time studying abroad (Taiwan Fall '23), currently in Beijing for Spring '24), internship abroad, went to a community college & eventually a state school for undergrad, first generation, blue-collar background. HYPED.

Emailed to check portal -- it would be kind if someone rejected the offer. Also this is AAAS just in case cause GradCafe doesn't have the right program.

Sad... Good luck to everyone!

Wish I had better news to share. But best of luck to you all!

Just wanted to add to the rejections. :( Big hugs to y'all. I hope we all get in somewhere better!

Checked portal...rejected. Very nice letter though, albeit a bit generic. Good luck to you!
