Waitlisted, but no indication of position on the list. Fingers crossed!

Accepted to program but sadly waitlisted for funding. Hoping that will change come mid-April!

Congrats to those who got in! The email told me to expect an automated rejection eventually.

I received an email prior to the portal update saying I'd been placed high on their waitlist. The email also requested that I not post anywhere about my status before UVA had a chance to notify all its other applicants, which to me makes a lot of sense. This seems to be standard for their acceptances and waitlists but, after speaking with others, it seems that not everyone who was waitlisted received any emails about it before or after their portal update. Beyond this, which may not ultimately mean much, I couldn't get any other info regarding list length, rankings, etc.

waitlisted for funding :/

Email to check the portal with status update.

Response to the other Houston applicant below: I would guess that if you didn't receive any notifications for updates yet, then you're probably still under consideration. I heard on the FB PhD draft page that they've already sent out first-round acceptances, but who knows about waitlist, etc? Stay hopeful, friend!

Email to check portal for status update. Kind message from Alex Parsons stating that the portal will auto-update soon, but still currently listed as "submitted."
