To the poster below: I received my acceptance earlier, and my GRE scores were abysmal (below average on both verbal and quantitative), but a writing score of 5 and a decent CV, portfolio, and transcript. I feel like they take it into consideration, but if your overall portfolio tells them otherwise, I think they overlook it

I don't know my place on the waitlist, and I don't know how long it is, just fyi. The email said that it's "very short," but that could mean anything.

Short form email.

"Very short waitlist." Fingers, toes, everything crossed. 0a/1w/1r/5p

I assume there goes Michener now too. Welp.

Kind form email. rn2a/0w/2r 5pending

This one was a blow. I am now realizing that the all the "don't worry about your GRE scores" assurances that I heard were false. Every rejection so far is from a program that required the test. My math scores were abysmal. 1a/0w/4r/5p.

Phone call with Margo Jefferson! 3A/1R/5P. Waiting to hear about funding (lol)

I was hoping for this! The interview went really well and I’m super interested in the program. Crossed fingers I get some financial aid! 3a/0w/2r/4p.

E-Mailed program secretary about not receiving a response after I'd already saw rejections and acceptances posted here weeks ago. Said something about my application didn't process and I would get a response notification in a "day or so." Couldn't just tell me I'd been rejected of course. A bit sketchy.

got a really nice phone call while I was at work, funding TBA. (1a/3p)

Accepted for nonfiction. Elated.

Email from Director

Rejection went straight to spam folder, disappointed but not surprised. My poetry seems a bit too out there for them. 2a/0w/2r/5p

I thought I got a text, but I was so surprised to find an acceptance email to Hollins. Hard work sometimes pays off!

Waitlisted for CNF, and was not told how many were on the waitlist. Anybody who was accepted and planning on not attending?
