kind of shocked...straight from undergrad, several research experiences, solid PS and LoR, interest in ethnic conflict, conflict resolution, and eastern europe.

Did not take the GRE, 8-page CV including founding multiple organizations, conducting research abroad, winning national and school-based scholarships.

Really hoping to get off the international waitlist before 3/15 when I would have to commit to another school!

IGNORE INTERVIEW. Has anyone heard back from WGSS department? I haven't heard anything yet just pending decision.

The International Peace Studies Selection Committee interviewed me on February 13th. I'm still waiting to hear back!

3a/1w! Any advice on making choices!?

No GRE, spent considerable time studying abroad (Taiwan Fall '23), currently in Beijing for Spring '24), an internship abroad, went to a community college & eventually a state school for undergrad, first generation, blue-collar background, WA state resident. I was also accepted to Georgetown, so I have some consideration to do! What should I do? Let me know your thoughts! Still waiting on word for any funding/fin aid from both schools. HYPED.

Your application to the Graduate School for Fall 2024 has been given careful consideration by the admissions committee in the Field of Asian Studies. I regret to inform you that your application has not been approved.

Was told that the waitlist is short. I have competing offers of admission elsewhere that I will likely accept instead.

offered 7k scholarship per semester.

Was accepted into the History: Museum Studies program and offered a 60% scholarship for only the first year of study. No teaching assistantships offered to master's students, according to the director. What a joke.
