I did not received any e-mail, I checked my portal randomly. My portal was updated.

Apologies--my last post was incorrect. I received an unofficial admit via email on Dec. 23, 2021 (NOT on Feb 4); the official admit was on Jan 10, 2022.

2 first-author papers in respectable journals, 4 internships (2 at national labs, 1 REU, 1 industry), no conference posters/presentations, no significant academic awards. Very strong rec letters from research supervisors who knew me well. Quite involved extra-curriculars, if that matters. GRE not sent to this school.

I conducted research each year of undergraduate, was deemed the best graduating senior by my department, and presented at 2 conferences on my research

Hi, is anyone still waiting for admission from MSE. I haven't heard back from the department I tried e mailing still no response.

I contacted the department again and they sent me a written email. No update from the website or anything else. Second college doing this to me. No correct communication.

I really want to go to Purdue people who got accepted and do not want to go please reject the offer. Thank you

Does anyone have any updates from Purdue for PhD and MS in materials science? Anyone contacted the department? Please do let me know. I'm an international student and I've to start my i20 and visa prep soon. Thank you!

No updates from Purdue yet. Has anybody heard from Purdue yet??

I wanted to know if anyone has heard from Material science and engineering department.

2.5 years research, 3.5 CGPA, no GRE. Undergrad mechanical engineering major

TTPB: I was personally notified by POI. I was asked whether I was still interested. (answered yes) They said they will contact me again if an opening appears.

TTPB: How did you get your status info? Did you personally E-mailed the staff? Or official letter was sent to you?

I was informed that I am on the waitlist. But was also informed that the chances are pretty low now.

Still no response from Purdue, Penn State, UMich, Wisconsin-Madison, UT Austin and NCSU. Has any international student heard from these recently? Is there still any chance?

TTPB: twiw, never heard back after 3rd of March. They only replied the results would come out until late of april, but I consider myself as rejected. FYI, It seems most of admits posted date as 27,Feb or 18,March.
