Intellectual Merit: VG/G/VG, Broader Impacts: E/G/E It appears Reviewer #2 was unimpressed. I am somewhat confused as there is no coherent constructive feedback. I'm not sure how to improve for next year. Anyone in the same note?

Liked my broader impacts but said I didn't talk too much about how I would continue my outreach in grad school. Also said that I would benefit from having a publication. E/E, E/VG, G/F. Haven't seen anyone else report an F on here... really frustrated at the third reviewer and looking into some sort of appeals process. The third reviewer did not even leave any explanation; he/she simply wrote quotes from my essays. The summary comments were riddled with typos and displayed a fundamental ignorance of my research area (which had been explained in depth in my essays). Luckily I have fully funded offers from MIT and Caltech so its not the end of the world I guess, though I would have liked to win...
