There was no activity on the status page, with only a checklist marking all documents as received. Today I saw that the page has been updated with a new item in the checklist for "awaiting Financial Document". No notification/letter of admission of any kind. I sent them an email. I have no other admits and had lost all hope. Now I'm a little hopeful and extremely confused.

After mailing them constantly at intervals of a few days and pleading to tell me something I finally got a reply which wasnt the same as every other mail. It still said no decision was available and requested my patience lol. Either majority of the seats are filled and they have a very few people on hold (which gives me a bit of hope) or they screwed up and delayed the process and very few seats got filled and many people are on hold (which is even better). Or they are complete tools and have no regard for us and are just delaying regecting anyone. Can't do much but wait i guess.

TTPB I'm waiting for EECS Master's decision from Irvine and Davis as well. This is ridiculous. It's nearly the end of April. Judging by the scarcity of result posts below, I suspect they've still kept a large number of people waiting, which gives me some hope that there's still a very small chance of getting an admit.

Anyone else awaiting a decision from EECS? Or is it just me. I was wondering if they have a large number of people on the hook or is it just a few?

so its 15th now, and still no decision. I saw a couple of rejects below, i guess its safe to assume that its reject season now. This was my dream school. :'(

Any idea when the MS ECE (computer engineering ) decisions are gonna come out? April 15 is just next week now.

Anyone amongst the EECS applicants has any news? I emailed them and got a generic reply saying I'll be contacted once a decision is made and the decisions will be made starting April till May. IT'S ALMOST APRIL 15 ALREADY!!!

Was being considered by a faculty member for research, but they don't have funding available and no more openings in their group. Great school, congrats to those who got accepted.

Concentration in Computer Engineering. Undergrad - BE in Electronics and Communication from RV College of Engineering with a CGPA of 9.37. Two internships. No papers or full time work experience.

GPA is grad. Hey guys, have you heard anything from UCI? I could not find any result about Electrical Engineering. I also did not receive any message after more than 3 months!!!

(M.S. GPA=4/4, 1 published paper, 1 paper in peer review, excellent recommendation letters based on my professors' assertion not seen by myself). Received a phone call from a POI who I clearly mentioned his name in the application form. He said that he is going to accept me with a multi-year fellowship. I have not received any official letter yet. How many chances do I have for this program?
