0a/7r/1w/3p. Medieval/early modern lit

expected it since the acceptances already went out 4a/3r/1w/5p

Nice rejection from the DGS. Expected since acceptances started going out over a week ago.

GPA is MA. Received a kind and enthusiastic email. 40% more applicants than last year!

2a / 2 r / 1 w / 8 p

Very nice personalized email!!!

WOW! After 6 rejections I was really losing hope. Got a very kind phone call and offer for 5 year financial package. Emphasis in 20th-21st century American Lit. 1a/6r/0w/5p. Sending love to all still waiting!!!

My first acceptance, just after being waitlisted by WUSTL! It's 2:55 am in my time zone and I just jumped out of by bed and danced a little while in the room. Very nice and personal email from the director of graduate studies. I am so happy.

Stephanie Li is leaving Indiana to go to Washington University in St. Louis.

Emailed to ask for an update or timeline on rejections; apparently the committee has not “completely closed deliberations,” so rejections won't go out yet even though acceptances and a waitlist have.
