got a call from pi i interviewed with. getting a letter soon. super excited !

So excited!!!!

Dream school. Emailed by program coordinator that all the interview invitations were sent out last month. Formal rejection letter will come in March. Not surprised but sad.

Got email response from admin. All interview invitations were sent out by Dec. 20th. They say the number of applications received this year increased by over 30%. Good luck to all invited to interviews.

Still in shock. 2 years of lab in undergrad and 3 years post bac lab. one pub, two manuscript in prep.

5 publications; 7 years neuro research (4 postbacc); 5 SfN posters; 3.7 GPA in MS. Congrats to all those that got in!

Didn't get a phone call, so I emailed and asked. For reason, they said there was nothing negative but implied I haven't had as many research opportunities as the other applicants (which is probably true - I have 1 1/2 years of experience plus just one summer internship). I thought the interviews went well, just shows you can never be too sure.

Kind of shocked, didn't think I'd get the interview here. 2 years of research experience, summer internship at Columbia, 3.6 GPA, no publications yet (but two in prep). But now overwhelmed with excitement!
