Anybody still waiting?

I'm still waiting for a confirmation email too. I was told it would come in a few days. You're accepted! Don't be nervous.

I received a call on Tuesday evening! So excited! However, I have not received my confirmation email yet so I'm starting to get nervous again! I need to see it in writing! Is anyone else waiting for a confirmation email?

I was contacted at 7:00pm. I was yelling and crying from excitement. Congrats to everyone!

I cannot believe this is real! So happy, and excited to meet my new peers! :)

by phone Tue evening

Went through to interview, had a good feeling but was shocked. Lack of "chemistry" with interviewer, who was all over the place.

Graduate professor called me - eek!

Yay!

Would like to chat with other 2011 UCB rejects, pls see forum post in Professional>Journalism

I was interviewed by an alumna who also happened to work for the same newspaper as me; one the way out she said, 'you can always reapply,' indicating that the interview didn't go so well. I'm mad if her opinion swayed the Admissions Committee. Very sad to get rejected;(.

M.J. @ Berkeley, Came from NYU B.F.A

So happy! Shows it's not impossible to go from UCB undergrad to UCB grad school.

i interviewed with someone that worked for the same paper as me. lol.

I got a $5000 fellowship from Berkeley, too, before need-based aid. Submitted my FAFSA in January, but I am still waiting for my financial aid award letter.
