Rejection email from POI. H-index 10, 3 strong letters (1 from Harvard med professor).

Emailed the graduate admissions director who said that all invitations for the BBS program were already sent yesterday. He told me that there was a record number of applicants this year (1300) which made the application selection process all the more competitive. Bummed out but it is what it is :/

Email notification came in at ~2pm EST; two weekends of virtual interviews offered. Feeling super lucky!

ignore waitlist. TTPB; were you accepted directly or did you get an interview invite? I'm confused since I didn't think they went out until after Dec 1.

I did not get any email to check the portal, but I anyway did since the posting said the same, got a very generic rejection from them.

Finally heard back. Was directed to check portal, which contained a generic rejection letter. Accepted to my other top choice school, so this wasn't really quite a shock. Good luck and congrats to those who made it!

If you HAVEN'T INTERVIEWED by now, you are rejected FYI. Was told by student and POI that they sent invites to interview only to students they were ready to accept (assuming nothing catastrophic happened during the interview).

Has anyone had BBS rejections yet? I still haven't received an interview, but haven't had a rejection. Not sure what that means.

TTPB: I have one more interview for a top program in March, so I want to see what they have to offer before I make a final decision. But I think I will most likely chose Harvard because I met a PI I really like there.

TTPB: Thanks a lot for your answer! Can I ask one more question? Would you be accepting the offer? I was just wondering if there are some applicants that are rejecting the offer from BBS to accept offers from other top programs..
