Offered MS

I applied in a rush because my parent pressured me to take the earliest admission possible. After finishing my English proficiency test on March 25th, I began to take action to submit my applications on the same day, but due to technical issues leading to non-existent communication with my professor before the deadline, I wasn't able to submit everything by April 1st, and after fulfilling LOR yesterday, I asked for a review from the administration and received a rejection 10 minutes after. I would like to have more insights into my case, whether it is because of my late submission of the documents, my application itself, etc., to improve on future applications.

final year undergraduate, 1 paper communicated to journal, no publications. 1 LoR from old-IIT prof who was supervising my internship there. another old-IIT internship was upcoming @ the time of application. some merit based scholarships & competitive awards during school & college. B Tech 9.2 gpa from tier3 college. no workex.

Rejected to MSCS. Two 4 months research positions in AI/ML. 1 Lightning talk presentation at USC. 1 Journal paper under review for Q1 smart manufacturing journal.

Had a 15-minute interview with PI at the end of January.
