Could you please decline as soon as you can if you're not planning to attend. Basically, this year they are very cautious about phd admissions. I would really appreciate it if you guys can decline as early as possible. Thanks!!

We received an exceptionally high number of applications this year, and the overall quality of candidates was outstanding. Unfortunately, due to limited space in our program, we were not able to offer admission to many highly qualified individuals, including yourself. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, I’m excited to share that I’ve finally received my first acceptance! Honestly, my interview didn’t go as well as I hoped – I felt like the PI wasn’t too enthusiastic, almost as if they were going through the motions. But it turns out, I was totally wrong. It’s my safe school, but I’m still holding out hope for Berkeley and LTI. No rejection yet, so there’s still a chance I could be waitlisted because my interviews here went super awesome. Worst case, Cornell will be my next big adventure!
