Accepted as a Canadian student for MSc International Politics

Alhamdulillah. Applied Dec 10 and heard back within a month. 3.8/4.3 Canadian undergrad GPA, 1 year government analyst experience + strong university ECs. Waiting to hear back from LSE and Sciences Po, but I'm thrilled even if this is my only acceptance. I wish everyone else the very best.

As expected, we all know this program is highly competitive, not for me at least.

Two MA degrees. Completed both of them with a 4.0 GPA. A couple of first author papers in peer-reviewed journals, one of them in a Q1 journal. However, they correspond to a different area of study. Several years of research experience.

CP subfield. Still waiting for funding

Comparative politics subfield. Internal applicant, currently pursuing an MPhil in a different department. No info regarding funding yet.

Theory subfield

No GRE, focus on theory, 60% tuition scholarship. For anyone waitlisted: I have already declined the offer, as I am accepting my full ride MA+PhD offer from UMass Amherst. Good luck to everyone!
