Proud to be among the very high achieving rejects. Were the admitted students as good as us? 3.97gpa at top 20 US CS & math, 169Q/166V/5.0A, multiple publications, FAANG internships, national scholarships.

3.76 GPA, 2 years research, 1 international paper, 3 glowing recommendations, excellent SOP. Unfortunate but low-key expected. Damn you Berkeley! (▰˘︹˘▰)

Undergrad from Cal Tech in EE, 3.9 GPA, work experience and internships at places like Google, Facebook and DeepMind. Disappointing, I was expecting this one...

I just realised they only had 7 students last year and only around 16 students per cohort in previous years. What a waste of money. :/

Undergrad GPA - 3.8 from Northwestern, Masters GPA 3.9 from Stanford , 4 years research (2 at Microsoft, 2 at Stanford), 9 Publications where I won 2 best paper award, Excellent LORs(4) and SOP, 2 are well known researchers who knew faculty at Berkeley. Me and my Masters advisor is shocked too.
