Does anyone know if NYU has finished notifying people with acceptances for fiction?

Anyone know how big the waitlist is...?

Seems like anyone who didn't get an initial offer is now wait-listed. I have no clue if this wait list is ranked. Last year I didn't get any notification of being on a wait-list and was then rejected on April 18th. This seems like the most b.s. of wait lists to be on, frankly if EVERYONE is on it.

Sounds like everyone who didn't get in got wait-listed. "This email is to inform you that all first-round offers for our Fall 2018 applicants have been issued. If you have not received an email offer notification, you have been placed on the wait-list. Our wait-list will remain open until April 16th, 2018."

E-mailed DGS cause I was bored with waiting. GPA is MA. 0a/3r/3p

Got a letter saying they’re only admitting 8 people this year. I won’t be hearing back until after April 15th. 1w/3p

Much better than a 'no', but very much hoping this changes to a 'yes'.

Offered waiver for half tuition if given a spot, but won't know for sure until April 15. Not my top choice, but the first school to get back to me, so if I get in elsewhere I'll probably take myself off the waitlist.

I was the first call. Waiting on official letter/funding info. 3a/1w/1r/5p

Would any of the fiction people be willing to give an idea of their likelihood to attend? Thanks!

Email that I'm on the wait list. Said they most likely will send an update late March early April. If you're on the wait list I recommend checking in with them late March. I got the same decision last year and had to reach out to them early May because I hadn't heard back.
