has any one received a rejection or waitlist from Texas State? I know that acceptances when out a while ago.

Was sent an email that directed me to admissions hub and my status was there. A little annoyed because they say that I won't be informed of my next status until after May 1. I would've rather they either accepted or rejected me lol so I can actually make a decision on where to commit to earlier rather than later. 2a/2w/2r, 3 pending

Wrote to check, and got a kinder, gentler denial. "Unfortunately you were not selected. It is taking a bit of time to process and inform everyone considering the number of applications they received." Still waiting for Indiana to let slip some results... Best of luck, everyone.

Technically not a rejection yet...but might as well be. To the person below: what number did you call to find out? I just tried Graduate Admissions, but they said they weren't allowed to tell me what the decision was.

My application was stuck in the "grad review" stage in the portal for months. Sent an email several weeks ago to confirm that my application had even been received by the dept. Received an email from the grad school yesterday: my application "has been compiled by the Graduate School and referred to the academic department office for their review." Not sure why this took so long or what it means, given that others have already received notifications...

Has anyone heard about waitlist/rejections from Brooklyn College? It's the last school I am waiting to hear from and I've emailed three times. I know interview notifications went out already, so I figure it's waitlist or rejection notification to come, but it'd be nice to have some certainty. I'm between two great options already but I just wanna know! 7a/0w/8r/1p

I emailed 2-3 times asking for notification of my status, received notification from director that I was "very high on the wait list."

To the poster inquiring about UW Seattle fiction, I called and the program admin said initial letters of acceptance went out, but all the professors are now on break, so they aren't sure where they stand. :/
