Got an update from the website. No email.

Has anyone heard back after the interview with the NLP group?

Are all MS/PhD decisions out? Has anyone been interviewed? TTPB: Congrats on your admit! When did you apply?

The email they sent out is NOT an acceptance. It was simply a FAQ email sent out to all applicants since they were getting so many questions emailed to them, and was sent out to people who had already been rejected by their department. It says nothing about your chances.

Can we expect any more admits from UMass-A, or only rejects?

has anyone received the funding yet?

Can anyone open spire currently? I didn't receive an email and there is no update pending for ma last I checked. Seems like the admits are out. Are only rejections left now?

accepted to the pre-doctoral MS in Computer Science Fall 2021, with 50% scholarship. Didn't expect the scholarship b/c there's a saying on the website that UChicago will not offer any assistantship to pre-doctoral students. Excited!

Accepted by CS department. No Interview. Area: Computer Architecture.

Didn't receive an email but checked SPIRE after seeing the trend on gradcafe. Status changed to "Update Pending" two days back. Yesterday, I got a blank screen. After an hour, I checked again, and saw the acceptance letter. Feeling grateful. Congrats to all the admits!

CS major, no research, GRE above program's average. 3.75 GPA. I'll likely decline offer as I have multiple others from more rigorous programs. I learned after I applied that there's a lot of non-cs background students in the program. The name recognition is good though.

I really don't care about this rejection, had already received offer from another top 5 school. This is meant to be my safety school, not safe after all haha.

Did everyone receive an email saying and update from the Cambridge Postgraduate Office? The email talks about the status of your application (when approved it will go to PAO), funding status, and offer. It is very vague and I am very unsure about what it means..

TTPB: It's still top 30... I wouldn't consider that "low ranked". For someone who didn't want to go there you seem awfully bitter about getting rejected. Perhaps they detected your pretentiousness....

(I'm the original rejected post) TTPB: I only applied as a safety. This was my lowest ranked safety by far (the next one up is USC at ~rank 20). Thoght this one would be an automatic admit but looks like their admissions have the immature mentality of "reject the candidate before they reject us" like many other low ranked CS schools have.

*Did not receive any decision yet; Does anyone have an idea when MS admits will come around? Also, how will applications be affected given deferrals?
