Got an email from the graduate school congratulating me on my acceptance and inviting me to a graduate webinar, but it was just a glitch in the system, and no formal decisions have been made yet (had a feeling considering the deadline for applications is Dec 15). Has this happened to anyone else?

UConn I/O is not taking students this year. Didn't see this until I was literally about to hit "send" on the app but thought to check prospective students page one last time. Beware!

Was just sent an email to check my decision in the portal - thanks for telling me so late.

I don't think it's POI specific - if you haven't tried already, maybe reach out to the director of the program instead of a specific professor. And it isn't stupid! There are lots of people who just haven't heard back from schools, which is ridiculous, but a lot of professors and programs are super busy around this time. I even had reached out to a program and have not heard back at all. I hope this helped!
