MPhil in Greek and Roman History, no interview

Notified by email from the Director of Graduate Studies

TTPB: do you think you can message me? I also was accepted! @exhaustionandtoast

Was offered a stipend/fellowship totaling $17k a year in 2011. Many others in my cohort only got a TA line of funding $9k. Don't expect extra funding to come in your second year. It never happened to anyone I know.

Email said they had 10x the applications than students they could admit. 3r/0a/5p

welp. it was worth a shot. :/

If you're going to send a standardized copy/paste email rejection (on the applicant's birthday no less), maybe make sure to spell their name correctly?

I am disappointed with how they conveyed this information thru an update of status on their website. Impersonal and icy.

rejection only; no recommendation for MAPH

No interview, referred to MAPH

Generic email to check portal

Referred to the Master of Arts Program in the Humanities (MAPH) program to be considered for admission.

I received a personal and kind email directly from the director of graduate admissions. I had also applied to the M.A. program, and I am waiting to hear if this decision applies to both.

Anyone know what happened with the Cambridge Classics MPhil admissions this year? This program typically has a 60%+ acceptance rate, and I have never seen so many rejections for it on here.

Received offer via email

Interviewed in January, didn't go well...
