Applied to online program. Took a grueling 7 weeks to hear back. Notified via email. Many relevant experiences, but different undergraduate major. So excited!

In my opinion, my GRE and GPA wasn't that great but hey! It worked! This university is amazing!

Applied feb 13 2017. Took gre march 6th. Ok gpa mediocre gre but worked extra hard on personal statements. I'm stoked!

Is everyone's deadline April 17th for their deposit for NYU? I'm on the waitlist and was hoping to get a response from NYU prior to the 15th. But, asmissions told me they wouldn't give me an answer by then. Which is extremely frustrating since other schools' deadlines are around that same date.

Speech@NYU, finally a YES!!! My application was completed on Jan. 24th. It took them 10 weeks to get back to me. Received a phone call this morning and I will be joining the May 2017 cohort. Full-time SLPA for three years! Third year applying. Dreams coming true! Don't give up hope to those still waiting for a YES.

To the person who was just accepted, when was your application audited/how long did it take to hear back? Thank you.

Undergrad in social studies education from no name school, studied abroad three times (twice doing internship teaching, once for study), currently working abroad on the JET Program. Offered $20,000 plus $5000 global study scholarship. Really want to do this program, but I'd probably have to work full time and take out more loans than I'm comfortable with to do tuition and not starve. Not sure what to do.

I'm the one who's been waiting since November. I got my email at 7:30pm. They sure took their sweet time.

So, my application was finally audited on 3/24 even though I submitted early February but they were having a lot of technical difficulties on their end so thats why mine took so long. Anyway, spoke with my admissions counselor yesterday she was very positive, like almost too positive in a way that would get my hopes up. She asked me the standard questions, do you have internet, do you have reliable transportation, what other schools I applied to, blah blah. I applied for Fall, but she said that I would have the option of starting in May if admitted. She also made it sound like it would take less than the normal 6-8 weeks to hear back. Im not sure if its because of the technical difficulty and they are just processing it quicker or if its because the national deadline is coming up in the next 18 days and they don't want everyone picking other schools? Not sure, but good luck to everyone who applied. May the odds be in your favor.

For those accepted, please post stat info. How long did it take for them to inform you? I have heard 6-8 weeks.
