To the one below: GPA 3.8 from top 30 CS university(US). I submitted it on 1/18/2017. Good luck!

The first ad after 6 rej streaks!!!! Almost crying.... Experience(all related to ML): TA+RA+1 publication.

Finally got a response, as well as confirmation that I wasted my time and effort for second year in a row. I don't think I'll bother trying again :(. Nonetheless, congrats to all of you who are successful in your applications. Godspeed and good luck to you :)

Non-CS undergrad. 60+units of CS and Math.

Sorry (to the ECE PhD applicants below) for not responding earlier; I only monitored the CS forum. Unfortunately, they did not give me any additional information; however, I believe my information may only hold for CS applicants. They did not respond to me today as they indicated in their email to me last week, which is quite irksome.

I emailed the graduate school about PhD decisions. They said that final decisions will likely be released by 07/04/2017 (dd/mm/YYYY)

I think they put everybody on a wait list this year until the very last minute, even if you have no chance of admission. (I've been asking friends.) Email and ask your admission status. This is very inconsiderate.
