*IGNORE STATUS* Has anyone heard anything from GALCIT? I've seen a rejection here from around a week ago. Any other results so far?

Didn't submit GRE. IELTS Score 7.5 Got an email from grad coordinator saying that I am recommended. "We have sent this recommendation to the University of Illinois' Office of Admissions to be effective with the Fall 2023 semester. Your admission is not official until you receive a notification from the University of Illinois' Office of Admissions. ....... You are admitted to the MS-thesis program. Note that to receive financial support in the form of a research assistantship or teaching assistantship you must secure a research advisor. We strongly encourage you to begin reaching out directly to possible advisors whose research interests align with your own."

MS in Materials background GPA - 3.92. Approached a Prof., and he asked me to apply. Applied at the beginning of the December. Gave an interview at Jan 18th. Rejected on Feb 7th. It seems they announce the admits first and rejections the following week. No GRE or TOEFL submitted.
