kinda devastated ngl

I had an interview scheduled for this Friday which was their alternate date. I was informed by the PI that they already extended an offer to someone who interviewed this past Friday and they accepted so there was need for me to interview. Very unprofessional that I received an invitation to interview and then didn't even get the chance to. I am definitely not going to recommend this program to anyone.

Hello I was wondering if there is anyone else who applied to Howard for the Fall 2024 and if you have received an email stating that you have been offered an interview or not or are there still people waiting to receive an email?

I received another email saying that admissions goes up until Mid march when final decisions go out so if you haven't received a rejection letter then your application is still being considered. However, interview invites have gone out and interview day is 02/03.

Tomorrow (Feb/1) is supposed to be the interview day, to which I'm not invited. Soft rejection

emailed the head of admissions and was told all interview invitations have already been sent out and official denials will be sent later this week.

Invited to attend the virtual interview day in February.

Ignore status -- has anyone heard back from SMU following 1/20 interview day? They said we would be notified first week of February

Admissions said they are sending out offers next week and since I wasn't invited to an interview, I'm assuming rejection.

I emailed the PI(IE)directly and she said she moved on with other candidates. Three publications, plus a Masters Degree and it still isn't worth anything :(

Beyond excited! They are my first choice for many reasons, despite the longer program.
