No waitlist prior. Surprised.

Michigan's poetry cohort just filled up. Super bummed, thought I had a chance on the wait list.

Application status was updated to being under review by department in Saturday morning and received this email today.

Maybe I'm too sensitive, but I wonder if the system designers and form letter writers sit and wonder over whether they're being cold enough, or if they could find ways to twist the knives a little more brutally. The "Decision" indicator on the web page (reminiscent of the pizza trackers on Dominos & Papa John's' online ordering systems) is a bold, stop-sign red, and the text below reads: "Your application has been decided. No further action is needed."

Accepted off the waitlist! :D

Posting on behalf of a friend who doesn't use this site -- he got the acceptance call today. Full package of funding. I'm happy for him, but pouting, too, since I did NOT get the call...and am now less likely to.

1a/1w/13r/0p I was on the wait list. I really thought Wyoming would come through for me. I'm very disappointed right now. I'm waiting to see if funding will be available at the one school that accepted me. Waiting for the final decision at my waitlist school.

Same as below (also waitlisted at IU); my other live candle is a waitlist at NYU. Once the funding train starts moving and things shake out, please do not forget to remove your name from consideration or decline your acceptance. I am ready and willing to accept half tuition in the first year.

If you are admitted and not going, take pity on me and let them know! This is my only shot at getting in anywhere.

Last year, UW responded on 04/11. This year, I guess they're going to wait at least that long. Can you ask for your application money back? It's like they don't even care about their program.

Anyone else still heard nothing? No email, no letter attached to login portal. E-mailed them 2 weeks ago before the rejections went out and received a non specific, please be patient e-mail. ...still being patient. ..anyone have info. ?

To UF poster below accepted off wait list: what are the schools to which you are declining offers? Please and thank you!

Was locked out of my email over the weekend, but happy news when I logged back in.

Finally, heard from all my schools. So glad that this process is over. Will be passing on SDSU's offer -- already accepted a full funded offer elsewhere. At least one Cali school showed me some love.. but I'm east coast bound! Good luck everyone! 12a/2w/6r/0p

8a/1w/6r Accepted off the waitlist with generous funding for three years. I accepted and will be notifying my other offers so expect movement at several programs. Thus ends my 2017 season.

Took myself off WMU's wait list. Hope this helps someone else.

To anyone who is still waiting, I just received notice that my application status was updated for departmental review around 7:00 am.

I got a call from the director of the program.
