Anyone heard from New School's waitlist? I was told they'd review the wait list the last week of May and send out notifications, but I haven't heard anything.

Found out status by logging into ASU.

I received an generic email from Alabama saying that my application was still being reviewed. I found it odd since it was so late into the application process and I'd seen people here saying they'd been accepted off of the wait list more than a month ago. I finally called in to see what was going on and the woman explained to me that there was a technical difficulty between departments. So my application is in some limbo where I don't have an official decision even though the woman told me that all decisions had been made. Very disappointed in that outcome. Seems incredibly unprofessional for a school to keep me in limbo like that. I was holding out hope when I could have been looking for new jobs and gearing up for taking the GRE's for next fall's applications. I don't expect to get an apology, but it seems like I should be given one. I'm not happy with the way MFA rejects are handled. Just thought I'd vent and let people know about a case of a bad MFA application experience.

Has anyone heard about funding from GSU?

For anyone still waiting to hear something from this program, I finally talked to the head of the program on 4/25. They (in theory?) have a wait list, but they don't notify people of it. Instead they wait for all the responses to roll in and start notifying everyone else I guess in May to finish filling out the program, if they need to. So if you're still waiting like I am, hang in there.

Has anyone heard anything from CSULB? I'm getting nervous with all this waiting.

Accepted off the waitlist. While on college tour (during the bus ride) with my students, I received a phone call from the director a few hours after an email from the assistant director. Greatest "disturbance" at work ever.

To the MFA applicant below: I am also still waiting on USF. I emailed them and was told decisions would continued to be made through mid-April, but nothing as of 4/20. Rather unprofessional of them, in my opinion, to be so late in this game.
