The poster below.Thank you for your response. I have interview with associate chair of education , so three academic staffs will interview? They didn't ask about your research interests directly? About your previous work experience? Or any thing other? Thanks for your response in advance, I'm so nervous.

Answering the poster below, I was interviewed by the Associate Chair of Education, a representative from the English Language Center and the Graduate Secretary. The questions were general, "Do you prefer theory or experiment?", "Do you like to learn abstract concepts or derivations?"

I was interviewed more than a month ago

No surprise but took forever.

Took them long enough. I'm more upset at how long this decision took than the fact that I was rejected from their program. I knew this would be a rejection anyway because everyone who got accepted to this program did by mid-December and early January based on the last few years of Grad Cafe's Results page. Their application website says "expects to make decisions by late March" but they should change this to "expect to receive rejections in late March if you aren't accepted by January."

1.5 years undergrad research, strong letters of rec, math minor, 3+ years of student teaching, presented my research via poster 3 times

Anyone recieve from UPenn and won’t go pls decline it asap. They said I am near the top of waitlist. Thanks

Just notified today. No notifications prior to this. Got an email asking for me to check their application website. They sure took time to notify me of anything. I sent two emails prior to this. The application was due December 15th. Undergrad. research for 3.5 years, no papers, two URP's. Honors Thesis.
