To the applicants for USC MS CS, that's a bummer. Keep your hopes up, you'll get in one of your other applications. Can you all share when you applied to the program ?And also what time did you receive the Email ?

Top 10 US CS undergrad, good GRE/GPA, good work exp, minimal research exp. I thought USC would be an easy admit given my profile but seems I was wrong. Also was rejected from another safety UChicago so this is really strange. I do have an admit from Cornell though so not too shaken up, I'll take Cornell over USC/Uchicago any day...

TTPB: I have applied for the MS/PhD program and haven't heard anything. At this point, there is very little chance that we will hear anything positive. They already had the candidate day on 4-5 March. If you have applied for the MS/PhD track, you will be considered for the MS track. My status changed BACK to under program review from application complete too. Is there anyone still with status application complete? Sorry if it sounds rude but just want to guess if it is any good news

Completed B.Tech in CS from 3rd generation IIT. Research internships at IIT Bombay and Microsoft Research.

I had an interview in mid Feb with two faculty members. Does anyone know what are the chances of getting admitted if you do fairly well in the interview? I applied for AI/ML.

I was the person who posted on Feb 5th regarding CS PhD. FYI, official offer came on Feb 12th and college allocation on March 5th. Still no words on funding yet.

I asked the department and they said all applicants on the shortlist should have been invited to be interviewed in Jan, and the results will come out in 1-2 weeks. So those who didn't receive the interview should be rejected (including me, although I have good backgrounds and connections with POI), sorry for this bad news.

Not WL. TTPB: My status changed from "under program review" to "application submitted" on Monday. However, it changed from "application submitted" back to "under program review" again today. I am neither admitted nor rejected yet.
