Did ece release admissions

TTPB: One of my friends has got Ph.D. admission (first RA, then fellowship offer after a couple of days) offer from Minnesota during mid-February. He had an interview with his POI during late January. His track was related to Electronic Device.

Did anyone hear anything from this program?

I already have some MSCS offers from other schools. I dunno. I know that ECE students can select SCS courses but maybe those courses prioritize SCS students, or maybe there will be restrictions in the future. Difficult decision.

I had requested for status by writing a mail to EECS Grad office.

Received the "Delay in Notification" email from the admission team yesterday. Not sure if it means that candidates who have received it are rejected/accepted or waitlisted? Anyways, hoping for the best!!

I have been contacted by a professor. Had couple of interviews and finally the prof. selected me and offered GTA position for the first year

I applied to the dual MBA/MEng. program at UCB (with Haas). Those results are still scheduled to be released on the 26th of March (MBA programs follow their timelines strictly given they have a dedicated admissions staff). Expecting the MEng. decisions will be released around that day too.

Got Chancellor's fellowship! Had an interview with PI in Feb, and he found me to be a great fit. 3 relevant publications, with two as first author. Field: controls.

A generic rejection email. Not even addressed to my Name! But it was expected from "small school"
