Any body got acceptance from McGill from waiting list

Domestic BAH Economics. No Funding Offered

Canadian applicant who graduated with a Canadian BArch degree. Worked at numerous high-profile offices with references from them.

McGill Master of Science in Epidemiology (Thesis). BSc undergrad from Canadian University, had some hospital research experience.

International student from Latin America. Just got an e-mail with acceptance to the MA non-thesis option without funding. The department of International Development will be deliberating for my acceptance to the Development Studies option.

Email came 8 AM PST! dc below

Canadian Student- RA experience, conference presentation, supervisor is an exact match for my project.

I got an email from the department on the 22nd and the official acceptance letter (and status update on uApply) today.

Master's GPA: 4.2/4.0 I am disappointed, to be honest. To anyone reading this and considering applying to McGill, please note that they operate on rolling admissions. I feel that I was a solid candidate and also had found a potential supervisor who really liked me, but, alas, I applied too late and was put into the second batch of potential candidates after all others had been given their offers. And so... Onwards.

I believe I do not have a good fit for the program, I study educational issues and couldn't find any faculty with the same background. My grades are 92%, I have 2 years of research experience, 1 semester of teaching assistantship, and 4 publications.

Domestic applicant. Somewhat expected, the POI already has a lot of PhD students.

Domestic Student, not the best GPA but one RA-ship that lead to a great LOR and amazing fit with the program.
