I can hardly see 5 accepted for MSCAC any other accepted cases. I am worried of this much delay its been 4 months still waiting for reply

To the poster below asking about interview questions: before you received the interview email, were you wait-listed? I think the questions are just some informal questions, someone mentioned it before, you can look it up.

I got a reply that this time the number of admissions is likely to be increased upto 40-45 and all the results will be announced by April end.

To the posters below, I received the same email asking for a brief conversation, Did you do it? What were the kind of questions alogithms/interest? How long does it take?

To the poster below: Well I kind of disagree, it's true that wait-list is somewhat rejecting, but there still stands a chance and people will reject offers, whereas for me I haven't heard anything yet. So I guess I can forget about this now.

To the poster asking about rejection decisions. Yes, waitlisting is a form of rejection. Look at it this way, if some applicants with relatively lower qualifications received offers, while other applicants been waitlisted, this means that the later will be rejected if all the formers accepted their offer. Got it?

To the poster below: Hi, did you receive your wait-list email today? so that would mean all offers have been sent out... Btw, you mentioned that you have seen people with higher qualification getting rejected, so they have already got the reject letter for this year? Thanks!

To the MASc Applied Computing poster below: Can you share your profile please? What is your GPA/W.Exp./any publications..etc? I have seen people with diverse backgrounds and higher GPAs getting rejected, while others with relatively lower GPA's receiving admission. I'm not pointing at you don't get me wrong, but I want to get a clear idea of the "Selection Criteria" Myself: Female, GPA 3.8 from USA, 2 years of work experience at Microsoft (UK), and 4 months internship at IBM, 2 national scholarships , no publications. And I have been wait-listed!

I contacted the CS department and was informed that the committee is currently at the final stage of reviewing applicants and will continue to make offers until May.
