Please DECLINE your offer, if you do not want to pursue your PhD at the University of Utah. I am still on the waitlist and highly interested in this program. This is my only chance!

Expected, after radio silence since applying in Dec.

I can't believe it has been over 4 months. What is the point of having an early deadline if you can't even send your rejection letters out within 4 months? Anyhoo doesn't matter because I got into my preferred program.

Ignore status!!! Does anyone know if formal acceptance or rejection letters have been sent? I haven't received anything yet

Had an interview in February, did not like the content of the professor's research so politely declined. Had another one in March, but again it was in an adjacent field, so did not do well in the interview and had to express the same. Had a final one on the 8th of April where both field and specific research area met my interests, and am now waiting to hear back.

Did not submit GRE. Got rejected from PhD but was offered admission to MS program.

Applied in Jan, got admit in the first week of Jan

Dallas is very GPA centric

Got admitted to Silicon Valley Campus. I don't recommend any NEU campus other than the Boston Campus.

Reconsidered for Software Engineering at the polytechnic campus, which is terrible. Nobody should consider it. You'll miss out on entire college experience if you go to the polytechnic campus.

Do not apply to stony if you have Quant below 165. It is very quant centric and GRE focused. Even 165 sometimes don't stand a chance. 167+ is ideal. Your Verbal score doesn't matter much. People with same score but higher in quant and lesser in verbal have the admit.

Fked up with the SOP and the Essay

International student, BSc in top university in my country, 2 internships, C2 English (8.5 IELTS), 0 publications.
