Mine is still 'under review' as well. Since one person was notified about being waitlisted I think we are rejected but not yet notified.

To the poster below, who got accepted, what is your research interests? What did you mention in statement?

From one of the top universities in European country. Did not submit GRE. Engineering background. Expected, but very sad, since my rejection is the first rejection of UofT Physics in 2017.

Also applied to the MI program. Received the emails regarding the Open House and the 3rd of March deadline as well. Haven´t heard back and status says "Under Review".

They heavily applied throughout my application that I was unlikely to be accepted as a non-canadian and lacking Master degree. Official letter to follow.

Sad! got other phd offer though. Official email said they got a large number of application this year and extremely high competitive for each applicant. Congrats for those who is "jackpot" to get in.

International, got my highest degree oversea. Conditional admit to PhD if I manage to get a external financial support.

From an Ontario University, High CS grades. Internship. Stoked.

Canadian. MA GPA = 3.85. Conference, research experience, and publications in review. Generic rejection letter.

I'm an international student applying 2 years in a row. It seems like their usual practice is to postpone their deliberation re international students. It's better to e-mail them straight away I guess, because they last year they updated my status in May. Haven't heard back from them so far.

Has any international student heard back anything from the department yet? Worried.
