Initially the application was refused. When I enquired about the reasons for refusal through email. I received a prompt email, apologising that my application was waitlsted, and was sent refusal by mistake. How should I take it? I am international applicant.

Disappointed.

I wonder if anyone received anything from the university (including interview invitation letter)! Thank you!

It said that I was an alternative for a University Fellowship and/or Graduate Assistantship.

Received waitlist notification and then turned it down to give others a chance as I'm already going elsewhere.

E-mailed to view portal. Didn't expect that.

Surprised, but oh well. Congrats on those that were accepted! 3a/1w/8r/2p

MAPPS 2/3 scholarship

Received an interview. Notified via email. Still feeling over the moon. Great fit with the POI.

Kinda surprised because I got into Columbia with pretty much the same application. It doesn't matter as would have picked Columbia, anyway! Still surprising

Got an email from the graduate director informing me in advance of my acceptance and to notify me that I will later receive the official acceptance offer.

Yet another rejection, this is not turning out to be my year. Oh well, I can always try next year (0a/3r/3p)

Got an email informing me of status update. No funding information

Got admission acceptance from GAO. No information about funding.
