Wasn't the greatest fit, but still, I had thought that I would be accepted. Especially in light of extensive email communication between myself and several POIs.

Checked status on website because I saw other posters getting acceptances. Got an offer! Doesn't matter if no email right?

To the person asking about University of Washington: No--seems like a formal acceptance email. Says it was an 'early admission decision', and that information about funding will come at a later date.

3 publications. Graduating with MSc in HCI this Spring. Informed there was no advising fit for me.

I had failed several courses, but I had 3 majors and a Masters from Colombia, and one publication in a conference with other authors.

Second email notifying that funding information will come in late February-early March or even later towards April. Specifically stated that funding opportunities were very limited.

Has anyone heard from UW about interviews?
