I got an email to set up a Skype interview this week.

For those who applied to Yale: I'm a current student there and can confirm that only the sociocultural and linguistic interviews have been made. If you haven't received an interview request by now, that most likely means you won't be getting in. The archaeology and bio subfields have their own admissions committee, and haven't really begun to look at applications, so they're on a completely different schedule.

To the poster who got an interview at Yale: congrats! Who do you plan to work with, and what's your focus? What are the interview details?

re: interviews... I applied for sociocultural, but the email makes it seem that all emails have been sent for the entire anthro department. The email started with: "See the message below from the Coordinators of Doctoral Admissions, Sociocultural, Linguistic, and Medical Anthropology at Yale". Perhaps more emails are on the way? I'm not sure, sorry!
