Was emailed today that about being an alternate for admission. Will know if accepted between now and August. Experience relating the field as a para-educator and substitute teacher.

Super thankful but I also know that Northwestern's acceptance rate is high! It was 70% based on last year's statistics :) Absolutely amazing program but tuition is so expensive!

I did a lot of research so I think that helped. So excited! Good luck to everyone else!

had a masters already, gpa 3.8. excited and deciding between this one and one that's 2.5x more expensive but is only 5 semesters. With in-state tuition JMU would be about $25,000.

Accepted with a graduate assistantship

Received an email about being an alternate this morning. They said they will rank alternates after April 15th and I could hear back about acceptance anytime between now and august.
