No email, checked portal.

Like others, I did not receive an email or anything. GPA is grad. 4a/1w/9r/6p

No email, as others pointed out. What a shitty way to treat applicants.

Like the others I did not receive any email.

Did not receive an email, checked the portal since someone posted here about their status. "Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission." 0a/0w/3r/12p

Did not receive an email, just decided to check the portal. "Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission." Cut and dry. 1a/0w/8r/3p

No email, but the portal had an update when I checked

I asked by myself, did not receive an email, and the application still shows pending on the portal.

GPA is MA. Had an original interview around 2/16 with Rutgers and it went well. Ended up having a second interview last week with whom I believe was my potential POI. I was told they should have a decision, hopefully, by the end of this week but it could be as long as the end of next week. This was the only program I have seen (or experienced) where two interviews were conducted, which was interesting. Results: 4r | 3i | 1a| 2p

This one is tough since I thought I was a great fit, but oh well. Congrats to all those admitted!

IGNORE INTERVIEW. Has anyone heard back from Rutgers Comparative Literature?

the worst rej note award goes to...

"Your application has been reviewed, and the committee has denied admission." Imagine completing a PhD app, paying $70, and receiving 11 words in return. What is academia???

I received a call from a POI who informed me I was accepted. The official letter will be sent soon. This happened after I had an interview three weeks ago and received ten rejections from other universities.

Rejection through portal. Very short message, did not receive an email to check the portal.
