Astrophysics focus, 2.5 years of research experience (4 projects), 0 pubs, 1 in prep., several TA experience, talked to the P.I. unofficial acceptance, the official letter is coming.

Has anyone heard back from them for architecture(professional)?

My application never moved to "In review" it stayed in "Submitted" until the very last moment.

Ignore waitlist -- has anyone heard anything and if so what research group did you apply to? I expected to hear either way by now.

Expected :(

I would say that if anyone intends to apply to this program be very careful because at this point I have no idea what they are looking for. Canadian Student.

Quebec student, rejected through the uApply system. Not super upset, it was a bit of a long shot school.

International student undergrad at UofT majors in Math & Stats. Emailed them to ask about my application status and they replied to me with an offer lol.

Received an email to check portal. Found a rejection letter there. Apparently, I heard from a senior professor at McGill that they "don't have enough funding to support many international applicants". Extremely dejected.

Had a Prof who had already agreed to supervise my Masters so.... (Canadian, from Quebec)

These Canadian schools are insane, I had one of the most BALLER applications of ALL TIME (think Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, etc. in terms of ballerness) and they straight up reject? Their loss, I'll go to an AMERICAN school that appreciates a PLAYER.

Application was never even put in "Review". Got a generic email with no comments or statements about why they rejected. Fuck em.

Canadian, non-Quebec

Former international McGill student, non-honours economics but have quantitative background. Received notification that initial offers have been released so I presume I am waitlisted. No GRE, no CV submitted. 2a/1w/0r/0p.

3.6 last two years, 3.3 overall
