So excited! Call came later in the day than I thought it might. So don't lose hope if it's late in the day :)

Currently enrolled in a doctoral level program; GPA: 3.94. 4 publications and 3 under review (though to be honest, this doesn't really matter). Got accepted with no funding at all. They fund only a subset of graduate students. Still waiting to hear from three other universities. Will mostly decline the offer; good news for someone who doesn't need funds and has been wait listed. :)

I receive an admission decision via e-mail, which says "rejected".

Just got the email: "... Because of the limited space available, admissions decisions were particularly difficult this year. We regret to inform you that you were not among those admitted to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication graduate program. "

Just got a call saying that I was recommended for admission. haven't received the admission letter though.

I got a call from a professor who informed me I was recommended for admission. I did not think I was going to get in, so I was pleasantly overwhelmed and probably made a fool of myself tripping over my words. Now awaiting a formal admission offer. To those reading this during future application cycles who are unsure if they are qualified, go for it and apply!

Got the call today! So excited!

Just checked my status and found out my application is denied.

Noted as being on the "alternate list."

I had hoped that I will scale throuh. I like the faculties. Yet, the outcome was not positive. My desire & zeal for pursing PhD in US fading. All the same, I'm grateful and best wishes to those who were admitted.

Invited for an interview on 22nd Dec,17 and was interviewed this week.
