Was sent an email with acceptance notification. No word on funding, but didn't apply for it

Had applied in the biomedical imaging area. Profile : Undergrad IIT : 8.58/10, Work Exp : 1.5 years in medical image analysis at MNC, Papers : 2 in mid-tier conf & journal. Didn't get any TAship or fellowship.

Admitted to Signal and Image Processing (EC82) track. Undergrad from IIT : 8.58/10, Work Exp : 1.5 year in Computer Vision at MNC, Papers : 2.

Has anyone got their results?

Got admitted in MEng without funding even though had applied for MS

Received an email saying - Unfortunately, we do not have funding (either through a GTA or GRA) to support you for the upcoming year; however, given your area of interest, we can consider you for our new Masters of Engineering (MEng) degree program in the Greater Washington, D.C. region.

My 2nd Funding. Have been given TA by the department for Fall and Spring Semester. Also told I am eligible for Summer RA-ship if I can avail the opportunity.

My 1st Funding. Given GRA by Prof. Myers for a full year. Had been admitted in fellowship pool in January.

The prof I had interviewed with (in person at a Coffee Shop lol) made a verbal RA offer (just for one year I am guessing). But first confirmation of admission! Waiting for Grad Admissions approval!

Is there any hopes of getting a PhD admit from UMich anymore? Their website says we need to wait till April 1st to enquire about status, but I am guessing they have handed out all the admits already (coz I received my Masters admit from UMich around this time in 2014).
