Sad! got other phd offer though. Official email said they got a large number of application this year and extremely high competitive for each applicant. Congrats for those who is "jackpot" to get in.

International, got my highest degree oversea. Conditional admit to PhD if I manage to get a external financial support.

From an Ontario University, High CS grades. Internship. Stoked.

Canadian. MA GPA = 3.85. Conference, research experience, and publications in review. Generic rejection letter.

I'm an international student applying 2 years in a row. It seems like their usual practice is to postpone their deliberation re international students. It's better to e-mail them straight away I guess, because they last year they updated my status in May. Haven't heard back from them so far.

Has any international student heard back anything from the department yet? Worried.

Informal acceptance through e-mail. Good grades and lots of research experience. To the person asking about the epi program at Dalla Lana, I know someone who was admitted to the Ph.D. It could have been an early acceptance though.

Had 3 international papers (1 in tier 1 and 2 in tier 2 conferences) in ML. 1 tier 2 conference paper in Stats. Research Internship at 2 different reputed colleges in US.

iSchool applicant - To posters below: Received an email saying complete applications should receive a response ON OR BEFORE March 3rd. I also received an email inviting me to the iSchool "Open house" event.

iSchool applicant here. to the poster below who received an email saying to wait until march 2. did you email admissions first before receiving this email and where was the email coming from? recruitment officer? admissions email etc.

To Poster Below: I have also applied to the Master of Information program. I haven't heard anything back yet, only an email stating to wait until 2nd of March. Good luck!

I first got an informal notice of acceptance through phone. I then received the official email, along with funding information, yesterday, Feb 10th. I am doing my Masters in Religion in a Canadian university. My program of study in my PhD application is on methods and theory in the study of religion. Never got a SSHRC but successfully obtained other funding both in my undergrad and graduate studies.
