This is my fourth time applying for PhDs; so if it would make an acceptee who is on the fence feel like they're helping someone, declining your offer at CUNY might help my poor, tired soul achieve a goal I've had for so, so long. [For future applicants: GPA is grad. Two master's degrees (one in philosophy); 12+ conference presentations; Fulbright student research grantee; $240k in student debt, lol.] | ||||

TBP: I see your point, but especially if you are European concluding a 3-year Bachelor, be aware of the enormous difference between 1-year and 2-year Masters: namely, the fact that in 1-year Master you will ask LoRs to proffs. that know since basically 3 months, and cannot evaluate you fully (and then push you accordingly). This does not really apply if you already studied at UCL. In the other case, and especially if you want to apply to a PhD later, be aware of this. Hope this helps. Good luck | ||||
