I was notified this morning. I thought I was denied admission because I haven't heard anything this whole time.

flattered but not sure if I will accept

Not any email to inform me the decision...

Email from Dr. O'Keefe, 3/19, waitlisted

Offered a spot in MA, but rejected from PhD.

Solicited. You hate to see it!

e-mail to check portal.

Accepted from the waitlist

This is my first choice; if anyone was accepted and is not planning to attend, please decline soon as I would love to go!

Has anyone else failed to hear back from Emory? Why the silence since it seems that many have already been accepted, rejected, waitlisted? Very strange.

Surprising.

Strange that I got into my top choice and was rejected by my safeties. This process is such a disconcerting crapshoot. But then again I don't think typical academic philosophy is quite the place for people focused on praxis. To those that got in: congrats, and would you mind sharing what areas of philosophy you're interested in? 2a/1w/5r.

2a/9r/0w/2p // "The Graduate Admissions Committee has determined that they are not likely to extend an offer to you for the 2020-21 academic year." Unique phrasing but I suppose that's pretty cut and dry anyways.

Very nice email from Prof. Rawlinson. This is the first I've heard from them, so it's a pleasant surprise!
