Expected but still sad though. First official rejection so far.

No interview! Applied for intelligent systems but got admitted to telecommunication and signal processing group under supervision of a professor with completely irrelevent research field.

Recommended for MS admission. PhD admission still under review. "I am pleased to inform you that we have recommended to the Graduate Division to admit you into the M.S. program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UCLA, starting in the Fall Quarter 2019. We understand that you applied to the MS/PhD program. At this time your application is still under review to be considered for the PhD program. We expect to release PhD admission recommendations no later than April 15th . If you have not been notified by this date your MS admission will retain its validity."

4.0 MS in physics, 1.5 Undergrad + 1.5 grad research in particle and condensed matter physics. 1 poster presentation, 1 proceeding, Strong LOR and SOP. Not surprised but still disappointed. My website was visited twice from someone at MIT, once they spent 10 minutes on it! Thought I would have at least got an interview

It is so disappointing not because of just rejection from school, but because of admission office working style. I got an email from professor that I should apply to school, but I am rejected. Administration or Admission Office people are so lazy that they didn't reply for my email several weeks and they did not update my GRE score submission about 1 month. They do not deserve big prestigious name-value as IVY league.

To all the admits of ECE and CS (non-thesis) 2019, are all of you being offered the Washington Campus for non-thesis? Or have some of you been selected for Blacksburg Campus?

Got my choice of field : SIPML. Didn't receive any funding as of now. Have to give a decision by April 15

First reject of the season, despite POI replying to my email which I sent to him late Fall and encouraging me to apply based on my profile. 4 papers published in International conferences. One in a prestigious IEEE conference. MS from US GPA 3.7

To the poster below asking about admissions; I talked with a professor at CMU and she told me the process is still going on and they will be sending offers for a while.
