Did this friend of yours interview? It seems a bit odd they would neglect to send some decisions out. Is that typical?

POI told to apply, I did, last week he said I didn't get in. Funny. I have to say the wait period for this department is insane.

To the EAPs poster below, each department has its own timeline so perhaps that was not relevant to this department. Its still long overdue. I know we are expecting rejection now. If they delay it till next week then many students (especially international) will have problems who need to respond and upload all documents by Apr 15.

anyone heard from the department? I saw a msg below that they will notify us no later than March 22nd but received nothing as yet.

Rejected, probably due to missing GRE scores. Admitted to both ETHZ (first choice) and EPFL (third choice) with full scholarship. Guess the GRE is a must.

Hi folks, Has anybody received an informal notification? Could it be the case that people who are admitted are notified by mail firstly and then receive the official letter for the department while unsuccessful applicants only receive a formal rejection letter later, or are all decisions posted at once?
