Decision letter on apply portal: "(...)The number of applications to the University of Pennsylvania is very great every year, and unfortunately, your application was not among those we were able to accept for admission.(...)"

I had to email them to find out. Apparently this year got 130-ish applicants.

To the waitlisted guys: good news for you, I am most likely not attending. But I need a few days to decide.

Completely floored.

A little bit unexpected

Soooo excited!! First admit. Just happy I have at least one choice!! Sending luck and well wishes to all that are waiting!

got an email to check the website

Rejection first appeared on website, email followed.

They Said: "The competition was highly intense this year, and there were many more highly qualified candidates than we had room to admit."

I am sorry to have even applied for UPenn. A bit disappointed, but their admission process is really sad. They weren't planning to accept anyone in the field that I applied for, but they still accepted applications. Already have an offer from a better school, moving on.
