GPA Masters, no GRE

Applied to DD, rejected for both, DD and MSc.

Co-founder of a startup, 2 consulting internship, no research experience, minor in consulting, major in computer science and engineering

Good LoRs. I was writing my motivation letter with my supervisor and, in my mind, made it almost perfect. Unfortunately, that is almost all. No big publications and no big internships. Also not ideal GPA (ruined my first semester). Not too surprised, but at least tried.

Got rejection email today.

Major in Math, Minor in Finance, exchange at EPFL, no internships, 2 short research, a lot of volunteering experiences,

Applied to the direct Ph.D. program. After the submission of the application documents, the admission staff reached out for some clarification about the study gap in the CV. addressed those and resubmitted. Today I got a response in the website saying I did not fulfill the admission criteria. :)

Top 2% in industrial engineering from RWTH Aachen Germany out of around 150 even though GPA is quite low. I'm a Scholarship holder with no research experience, and 2 internships (1 in Consulting). 1 LoR very strong, the other one quite standard. No ESOP information. Waiting for admission was emotionally very turbulent, wish all of you good luck, stay strong!

Not very high average but I finished second best in a Mechanical Engineering bachelor from a renowned French university

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, One-year Master in Computer Science (Conversion degree). Four years of work experience as SWE. I have no research experience outside of my dissertation and no publications. No GRE (The admission office mentioned that GRE scores will not be considered nor reviewed for applications to the MSc in Computer Science)

few strong referrals & publications, still didn't make it

IGNORE INTERVIEW: Did anyone actually get ACCEPTED into this program (Ethno or Musicology) for the PhD during this cycle? I know there are rejections, but wondering if anyone using gradcafe has actually been accepted, and if so...will you be going? THANKS!!
